Gill contacted me a few weeks ago to book a family photoshoot at home. I met the family at their gorgeous home in Rivonia and it was just the perfect setting for their photos.
I just loved the wild garden in the one area of the garden. It was just perfect with gorgeous long indigenous grasses and trees big enough to climb. The old scooter track was ideal as a pathway for some portraits with the kids before they started climbing the stone walls and trees.
This is definitely my favourite shot of the 2 boys. This tree was magnificent! I wish we had one in our garden.
The boys loved being able to play around on the trampoline for the photos.
What better way to end a photoshoot when it’s 33 degrees than a jump into the pool?!
Mom and dad got in on the action too. I think this is the first time I’ve ever taken photos of a family in a swimming pool. I really should work more time into summer shoots so make it happen more often. The kids were in their element!
