I met the Calogridis family at Delta Park this weekend for a family photo session. Autumn is one of my favourite seasons at Delta Park. The light is gorgeous in the late afternoon. Combine that with the yellow trees with the tall veld and you have the most amazing setting for photos.
The first time I took photos of them, Alex was only a little one year old so it was awesome to see them again. I decided to start the shoot on my favourite steps. I’d used the steps during our first shoot and thought it would be cool to have a then and now comparison.
Then we headed for the trees, but stopped along the way for a few photos in the last of the cosmos flowers.
This bent over tree has really become a fast favourite for the families that I take around the park. The kids cannot resist climbing up it. It’s part of the big Jenty photo adventure.
The light in this small forested area is quite magical. It’s a pity that the leaves have already fallen… but it’s still quite a magical place.
The yellow light in this tiny patch of veld was incredible. I’m so glad we stopped there on the way back to the car.
