I didn’t have a shoot booked for this weekend and felt the need to take photos with the jacaranda trees.
Leigh thought it was a great idea, and Bradley tagged along. I love that with her influence, I’m able to take photos of my son 😉
I took them to the jacaranda trees on a street in Bryanston. I’ve used this street for shoots a few times over the years and it’s always perfect. The late afternoon light was perfect, although I wouldn’t have minded a little more sunlight… but the clouds were closing in for the storm.
A shoot in the jacaranda lined streets is a must in Johannesburg at this time of the year, but you have to time it well. The purple flowers only last for about 3 weeks.
