I met Natalia and her family last Saturday for a family shoot in the cosmos flower fields in Delta Park. I had a ball running up and down the pathways between the flowers taking photos. This is my favourite season at Delta Park.
It was absolutely freezing that afternoon but thankfully the rain stayed away and we only got drizzled on as we finished. It actually feels like the cosmos season was way shorter than normal this year but it’s because it’s rained every weekend! It’s been so tricky to book photoshoots.
The weather was gloomy which worked well. The cloud cover worked in my favour so I could really use the whole space without worrying about sun shadows and squinting eyes.
The pink and white flowers were absolutely stunning even though it was nearly at the end of their season.
One thing I must say about this year’s cosmos season is the height of the flowers were absolutely magnificent! And of course there’s nothing better than a little child walking along a flower edged path 😉
